Pricing FAQ
What's the difference between perpetual and subscription?
Perpetual is a one-time purchase that's yours forever and includes a year of updates. After that, each extra year of updates is €39, whenever you like; skip it and you keep the last version from your paid year. The subscription bills monthly or yearly and includes every update, front-of-queue support and cloud project sync, which keeps your projects on every machine you use. Both unlock every feature.
Can I add Cloud Sync to the Full licence?
Yes. If you own the Full (perpetual) licence, you can add Cloud Sync on its own for €3.99 a month or €39.99 a year, from Billing in your dashboard. It syncs your projects between your devices and keeps earlier versions, so you can restore one any time. Cancel any time; your licence is not affected. The subscription already includes Cloud Sync.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every install of the app starts with a 7-day free trial — full access to all features, no credit card required. The subscription also starts with 7 days free when you subscribe here: Polar takes your card at checkout and charges you on day 8. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
What's your refund policy?
There's a 14-day refund window. Buy, play a few sets, and if it isn't for you, request a refund within 14 days, no questions asked.
Which platforms does it run on?
macOS, Windows and Linux, with iPad coming soon. The same structured-looping workflow on whatever you bring to the stage.
How many devices can I activate?
Every license covers 3 device activations. You can deactivate a device from your dashboard at any time to free up a slot.
Can I gift a license?
Not yet as a self-serve option. We are building it. In the meantime, email support@looper.studio and we will issue a redemption code the recipient can activate from their dashboard.
