This Cookie Policy explains how GN NEODIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES LTD (“NDT”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Looper Studio website at https://looper.studio (“Website”).

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Notice (https://looper.studio/legal/privacy), which explains how we process personal data more generally.

For data-protection purposes, NDT is generally the controller of personal data collected through the Website.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information.

We also use technologies that perform similar functions, including pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits and other identifiers. In this Policy, we refer to these collectively as “cookies and similar technologies”.

These technologies may collect information such as:

• your IP address;
• browser and device information;
• pages viewed and actions taken;
• approximate location derived from your IP address;
• referral information;
• information about whether you opened or interacted with particular content; and
• your cookie-consent choices.

3. Categories of technologies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies are required for the Website to operate, remain secure and provide functions that you have requested.

They may be used for:

• maintaining account and login sessions;
• protecting the Website against fraud, abuse and attacks;
• managing security and traffic through Cloudflare;
• remembering your cookie-consent choices;
• maintaining essential Website functionality; and
• supporting forum or account functionality where required.

Because these technologies are necessary for the Website or a service you have requested, they may operate without optional-cookie consent where permitted by applicable law.

They will not be used for optional analytics, conversion tracking, behavioural advertising or profiling.

3.2 Analytics and website diagnostics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Website and to improve its performance, content and usability.

We also use Sentry.io on the Website for error, performance and stability monitoring. In its current configuration, Sentry.io on the Website does not place cookies and does not use local storage. It may process technical information such as error reports, page or URL information, browser and device information, operating-system information, timestamps and performance data.

Sentry.io is not used on the Website for behavioural advertising or profiling. Any Sentry.io cookies, local-storage items, SDK identifiers or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary for the security or operation of the Website will be blocked unless and until you consent to the relevant category. If a Sentry.io component is used solely for essential security or technical operation, it may operate without optional-cookie consent where permitted by applicable law.

Sentry.io’s use for Website monitoring is separate from Looper Studio’s optional desktop crash-reporting function. Desktop crash reporting is described in the Privacy Notice.

We also count page visits with Vercel Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

3.3 Marketing and conversion-tracking technologies

With your consent, we use Google Ads, Meta, Reddit and TikTok technologies for conversion tracking and to show our ads to people who visited the Website. This allows us to understand whether visitors complete particular actions after interacting with relevant campaigns or links.

These technologies may involve pixels, cookies, tags or similar identifiers and may transmit information to Google, Meta, Reddit and TikTok. They will not be loaded or used before you provide consent for the marketing/conversion-tracking category.

The Website does not currently display third-party advertising.

3.4 Embedded media technologies

The Website may contain embedded content from:

• YouTube;
• SoundCloud; and
• Spotify.

These providers may place or access cookies and similar technologies, and may collect information about your device, viewing or listening activity and interaction with the embedded content.

Embedded media must not load non-essential third-party technologies before the relevant consent has been obtained. Accordingly, where an embedded player uses optional cookies or similar technologies, it should be replaced with a consent placeholder until you choose to enable it.

If you choose to load embedded content, the relevant provider may process information under its own privacy policy. We do not control the data-processing practices of those third-party providers.

3.5 Forum technologies

Our Website may provide access to an on-site forum operated using NodeBB. The forum may use necessary session, authentication, security and preference technologies.

Forum-related technologies may be used to:

• keep you signed in;
• protect the forum from abuse;
• remember preferences;
• maintain sessions; and
• support posting, moderation and other forum functions.

NodeBB and any hosting or infrastructure providers may process information in accordance with the applicable service arrangements and privacy notices.

3.6 Payment and merchant technologies

Payments and subscriptions may be handled through Polar.sh as the merchant-of-service, to the website of which you are redirected.

When you leave looper.studio and visit a third-party payment or merchant website, that website’s own cookies and privacy policy apply. NDT does not control the cookies used on third-party payment pages.

4. Your choices

When you first visit the Website, our cookie banner will offer the following choices:

• Reject all;
• Accept all; and
• Choose….

Before you make a choice, non-essential technologies will not be loaded or used. These include Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads, Meta, Reddit and TikTok technologies.

If you select “Choose…”, you can control the following categories separately:

• Necessary (always on);
• Analytics; and
• Advertising (marketing and conversion tracking).

Refusing optional technologies will not prevent you from using the core Website, although some embedded or optional features may not function until enabled.

5. Changing or withdrawing your choices

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the Website footer.

When you open Cookie settings, you should be able to:

• see your current choices;
• enable or disable optional categories;
• select Reject all;
• select Accept all; and
• save a revised choice.

When you withdraw consent, we will stop placing or using optional technologies going forward. Where technically possible, we will also delete or deactivate optional cookies already placed on your device.

Changing your cookie preferences does not necessarily delete information already collected by third-party providers. You may need to contact the relevant provider or use your browser or device controls for further deletion.

The duration of each cookie or similar technology depends on its purpose. Technologies may be:

• session-based, meaning they are deleted when you close your browser; or
• persistent, meaning they remain until they expire or are deleted.

The exact names, providers, purposes and expiry periods will depend on the Website’s technical configuration. We will maintain and update the cookie table below as the Website is developed.

Relevant third parties may include:

• Cloudflare, for Website delivery, security and traffic management;
• Google, including Google Analytics 4 where enabled;
• Sentry.io, for Website error, performance, stability and security monitoring;
• Vercel, for Website hosting and cookie-free page-visit counts;
• Google Ads, Meta, Reddit and TikTok, for conversion tracking and advertising where enabled;
• YouTube, SoundCloud and Spotify, for embedded media;
• NodeBB-related service providers, for forum functionality; and
• Polar.sh or another merchant-of-record or payment provider, for payment and subscription processing on third-party pages.

The use of a third-party service does not necessarily mean that it places cookies or similar technologies on your device. The applicable technology, consent requirement and retention period depend on the Website configuration described in the cookie table above.

9. International processing

The Website and certain third-party technologies used on it may involve the processing of information outside Cyprus, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. This may occur through Website-delivery and security infrastructure, analytics and monitoring services, embedded media providers, conversion-tracking providers or third-party payment and merchant websites.

The fact that the Website is available worldwide, or that you access it from outside the European Economic Area, does not by itself mean that all information collected through the Website is transferred outside the European Economic Area.

The location and scope of processing depend on the relevant provider and its technical configuration. For example, Sentry.io’s desktop crash-reporting function is configured separately for processing in its EU region, in Frankfurt, Germany, as described in our Privacy Notice.

Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards. Further information about international transfers of personal data is provided in our Privacy Notice.

Third-party providers may also process information in accordance with their own privacy notices and terms.

10. Legal basis and applicable law

Where applicable, we rely on your consent to use optional cookies and similar technologies.

For users in the United Kingdom, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 provide that information may generally be stored on, or accessed from, a user’s device where the user has been given clear and comprehensive information and has provided consent. Consent may be provided through browser controls or another application. See Schedule A1, paragraph 2 of those Regulations:

For this reason, Google Analytics, Meta conversion tracking and other non-essential technologies should be blocked until the relevant consent is given.

Other laws may apply depending on where you access the Website.

11. Browser controls

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect Website functionality, including login, security or forum features.

Browser controls do not necessarily withdraw consent already provided through our Website. To do that, use the Cookie settings link in the Website footer.

Looper Studio is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly use the Website to collect personal data from children under 16.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to:

• the technologies used on the Website;
• our service providers;

• our privacy and consent practices.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised. Where appropriate, we may ask you to review or renew your cookie choices.
